The Hero Xtreme 125R offers impressive performance, comfortable riding experience, and great value for its price, as highlighted in expert reviews.
The motorcycle looks expensive, bold, and aggressive with its sleek headlight, sharp edges, and bright colors. It's made for people looking for a sporty and affordable way to ride nearby like working professionals and college students. The vehicle looks good and is well put together, but the paint could be better for a more luxurious feel.
As a person who rides a bike to work, the bike needs to be comfortable. We are happy to say that the 125R is a very comfortable choice. In our tests, it seems to be even more comfortable than the Xtreme 160R. It has a neutral rider's triangle with an upright handlebar and footpegs in the middle. However, the seat cushioning on the Xtreme 125R is soft and comfortable for short rides but becomes uncomfortable after a few hours.
Hero says the Xtreme 125R has a new engine that makes 11.4bhp at 8,250rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. It uses a five-speed gearbox to send power to the rear wheel. When you turn on the engine, it feels very smooth. Even when you go fast at 80-85kmph, the engine stays smooth with only a little buzzing felt on the footpegs.
Hero says that most of the engine power is available at lower speeds, but I think it could use more power at the beginning, especially in traffic. However, once you start moving, the engine has enough power to keep up on the highway. However, the gearbox moves smoothly through gears without any issues. The clutch is easy to use and feels light. But, the brakes could be better.
The front brake doesn't have much power or feedback, so it takes a lot of force to stop the bike. On the other hand, the rear brake works well and can stop the bike effectively. The ABS system is a good feature that doesn't interfere too much. Overall, the Xtreme 125R is highly recommended for its handling abilities.
The Hero Xtreme 125R has many great features like single-channel ABS, LED lights, digital display, wide tyres, and a mono-shock. The base model comes with CBS. It doesn't have Bluetooth, which some other bikes have.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is great for people who want a bike with good mileage for everyday travel. In our test, we get 550km on a full tank in the city with a mileage of 56.40kmpl. The TVS Raider 125 got slightly better mileage on the same route and traffic conditions, with 56.76kmpl.
In the end, the Hero Xtreme 125R is the best 125cc bike in India. It's easy to use, comfortable, and has useful features. It's also fuel-efficient and gives a smooth ride. But what really impressed us was how well it handles.
The Hero Xtreme 125R is quick and easy to handle, making it feel like it knows where you want to go before you do. Although it could use better paint, comfortable seats, and stronger brakes, it still has what it takes to be a fun and exciting choice for getting around town. If you want a 125cc bike with a sporty vibe, give the Hero Xtreme 125R a try.
