ABHA Card Apply Process: Aadhaar Card & Driving License

There are two processes for ABHA Card Apply, depending on whether you prefer to use your Aadhaar card or your driving license.

1. Using Aadhaar Card

Step 1: Go to the “Create ABHA Number Using Aadhaar” page.

Step 2: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, fill in the captcha, select "I Agree" & click on the “Next” button.




Step 3: Complete the verification process using an OTP to verify your Aadhaar card.

Step 4: You have to enter your preferred ABHA address (username).

Step 5: Click on "Create ABHA ID" to complete your registration.

Step 6: After registration, you can view and download your ABHA Health Card.


2. Using Driving License

Step 1: Go to the “Create ABHA Number Using Driving Licence” page.

Step 2: Enter your mobile number, select “I Agree”, fill captcha & click on the “Next” button.




Step 3: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number for verification.

Step 4: Fill in the details required, including your name, driving license number, date of birth, gender, address, and PIN code.

Step 5: Upload a clear image of your driving license, and click on "Submit" to complete your registration.

Step 6: Your ABHA number will be generated.

Documents Required For ABHA Card Registration

To register for an ABHA Health ID Card, you only need an Aadhaar Card Or Driving License. 

  • Aadhaar Card: This is the preferred method as it simplifies the registration process. However, your Aadhaar number must be linked to your mobile phone number for verification.

  • Driving Licence: You can also use your driving license to register for an ABHA card. You'll need to provide your license details and upload an image of the license during the registration process.
